Here’s How Maa Foundation Is Transforming The Indian Education System!

Education is a fundamental right for a person’s overall development. Unfortunately, millions of children do not have access to school due to poverty or other reasons. Governments and NGOs are aware that children are the future of India and are making concerted efforts to ensure that every child gets an education.

We should mention Maa Foundation, a charitable organisation funded by the Bilakhia Group. The Maa foundation plays a crucial role in the education sector by launching projects that initiate educational reforms in society. Mentioned below are some of the Maa Foundation projects that have unleashed the potential in children and enabled and trained them to build successful careers for themselves.

Disha is a unique project that provides direction to students. The project offers career talk and psychometric tests, which helps provide information to students about the various careers. The project makes it easy for students to choose their careers by giving them the proper guidance.

Lakshya: Maa Foundation coaches UG students in 21st-century work skills through the program. Internships are organised wherein industry exposure is provided to the students. Besides training students and increasing their chances of employment, the program also benefits industries by providing them with a trained and capable workforce.

Unnati: Dropout rate and joblessness are severe issues that must rectify. Maa Foundation is making efforts in this area through Unnati. The program benefits dropouts and jobless graduates/postgraduates as it imparts their practical training skills. The program is specifically meant for youth between 18 and 25 years. Unnati provides youth with the necessary industrial exposure to find good jobs.

Science on Wheels: Many students develop math and science phobia, impacting their learning ability. To counter this, Maa Foundation devised the Science on Wheels project. The Maa foundation plays a pivotal role in inculcating a scientific temperament among students through this program, especially those in rural parts of the country. The program is well designed and helps students overcome the fear of maths and science subjects.

These are just a few projects introduced by Maa Foundation. The foundation strives to transform the Indian education system through these and various other projects. Besides addressing the education system’s problems, Maa Foundation is also spreading awareness among people in rural areas about the importance of education.
